Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

To ensure fairness and protect appointment times, I require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours before the appointment are not subject to any fee.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours are considered late cancellations and are typically charged at 50% of the session fee.

  • Missed appointments (“no‑shows”) are billed at the full session fee.

 

Why this policy exists

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. When cancellations happen with short notice, it becomes difficult to offer that time to another client who may be waiting for support. The cancellation fee helps protect the time and care I hold for each person.

Flexibility when life happens

​

Although the 50% fee is part of my policy, I genuinely don’t like charging it. If you’re experiencing unexpected financial strain, a genuine emergency, or an unforeseen circumstance beyond your control, please don't hesitate to reach out. I’m always open to moving the appointment to a later date when possible. My priority is supporting continuity of care while maintaining a clear and respectful therapeutic frame.
